WHO AM I?
Here is a list of job descriptions. Can you guess the
job title? Send an email to

with your answer.
1. I could work in the UN after this job. I am
responsible for not only pulling off a perfect shoot,
but also playing pop psychologist to everyone on the
set: photographer, model, celebrity, publicist. It’s
exhausting!
2. I start around 8:30 AM, working on one of the 70,000
authentic pieces from our climate-controlled storage
facility. My main job is figuring out how to display the
clothing accurately. I look at old drawings in our
library to see exactly how the dress is supposed to fall
and figure out what sort of body the original owner had.
Then I re-created that body on a mannequin, building
muscles and fat with fiber-fill and pantyhose.
3. I get up around 8 AM, open my mail and check my
messages. If I’m doing a private consultation, the
client will either come to me or I will travel to them.
Clients come to see me for a variety of reasons: it
could be to find out if they are compatible with a
romantic partner or just out of interest to find out
more about their personality. I also compile reports for
small businesses and corporate personnel departments.
The work I do at parties is largely seasonal, and I am
busiest during the summer and at Christmas. I either
give personal readings or make up games. Occasionally,
I’ll appear on TV when something topical is happening.
As I am self-employed, I spend part of my day marketing
myself.
4. I grew up in a wine region and did a catering course
which involved work experience at a restaurant. One day
I was nosing around the winery and the chief sparkling
winemaker found me and asked what I was doing. He saw
that I was interested, and so took some time to show me
what was going on. I thought it was fascinating, so I
started going out and buying wine books – I wanted to
learn how to describe it and to know how it’s made. I
did a course at the local College. I found myself doing
quite well at it and enjoying it. I ended up working at
a hotel in Australia. Now I’ve moved up to more of a
consulting position with the group.
